30 Pc Antique Artist Signed Fine Eggshell Japanese Porcelain Tea Set For 6 Pot

  

Here is an absolutely gorgeous 30 piece finely detailed hand painted and signed antique Japanese tea set for six including lidded tea pot, lidded creamer and lidded sugar with six each cups, saucers and plates all in wonderful condition as shown in my multiple photographs included here in an attempt to accurately represent the design, quality, age and condition of this beautiful set. All of the pieces in this set are eight-sided or octagonal in shape including the cups and saucers. Stunning birds, birds in flight and flocks of birds along with landscapes with structures, mountains and lovely flowers decorate this spectacular tea set in intricate detail and with gorgeous gold gilt highlights. Gold on black hand painted border designs also grace the entire set. The attention given to the detail across this set is stunning with no surface left undecorated and with different presentations on opposing sides of all the pieces.

Each of the pieces in this set is hand signed in red as shown. The lidded tea pot stands 8 inches tall and measures 8 inches across, handle to spout. The two handled lidded sugar bowl measures 5 1/2 inches tall and 6 3/4 inches across, handle to handle. The lidded creamer stands 5 1/4 inch tall and measures 5 3/4 inches across handle to spout. The cups in this set measure 3 3/8 inches across their diameter and the saucers are 5 1/4 inch across. The plates with this set each measure a 7 inch diameter and their are 6 each high quality cups, saucers and plates included with the set for a total of 30 pieces. In addition to the 30 included pieces, my final four photographs show the additional 12 pieces I will include with the set at no cost because they do have some minor issues. These include a cup with an old repair, a six inch waste bowl with two old hairlines as shown and 5 each additional saucers and plates, each of which has a small chip or flake to a corner or edge but all are still quite nice and suitable for display.
