Very Rare Antique Shimamura Fine Porcelain Unusual 8 Petals Japanese Detailed Delicately Hand Painted Hand Gilded Plate. The Plate is Moriage Encrusted With Vibrant Colors & Gilded Around. Depicting 2 Women In The Garden - Could Be Courtesan (Geisha) & Her Apprentice. Shingo Shimamura Was a Company in Japan Which Had a Few Studios in Yokohama And Also in US in Atlantic City. The Company Had Great Success in Trade Fair in Chicago in 1904 & Became Very Famous. The Company Closed in Early 1920s. Therefore almost all their pieces are 100 years old & extremely valuable.
