Vivid, beautiful hand-painted polychrome enamel decoration throughout - repeating vertical bands, with blooming Chrysanthemum flower motifs in the celled Cartouches. Domed top lids, with Onion Bud finials. Both signed on the undersides in red, by hand, with the same Japanese Kanji character.
