Elegant ANTIQUE NIPPON Style Japanese Hand Decorated Gold Gilt Handled Vase

  
This listing is for a striking hand-painted antique double handled vase. It is made of fine white porcelain and hand-painted with pink chrysanthemum flowers and green leaves. There is also a striking gold-gilt raised relief design of flowers and ribbons. You can feel them when you run your fingers over the surface. The gilt could be gold, but I have no way to verify.

The vase is unmarked, but consistent with porcelain from Japan during the Nippon era. It came from the estate of a collector who had many fine Asian antiques. Measurements: 9" tall, 4.25" wide (handle to handle).
