FINE! Antique Hand Painted Japanese Imari Square 10 Plate, Unsigned Stoneware

  
This antique Japanese Imari plate is a fine example. The shape is a scalloped square with clipped corners, measuring 10 3/8 in diameter. The center reserve is water with reeds and iris, cranes, and florals. The band is quite colorful and diverse wit. The coloration is primarily blue, red, gold, and green. Wear is consistent with its age and its use with only one small chip that even needs to be mentioned. Please see the photos to satisfy yourself that it is a stellar piece of antiquity.
