Fine Antique Japanese Royal Satsuma Bowl by KITAMURA YAICHIRO (1868 - 1912). Master Potter of Meiji Japan Makuzu Kozan. He was principal of the Kobe Pottery School and noted for visiting Sevres and Limoges on a trip to France. This beautiful fine bowl is intricately decorated with a finely detailed mountain landscape with flowering trees and birds frolicking among the large and colorful chrysanthemum blossoms and bordered at the top rim with a geometric gold border.
Dimensions: 7.25'' Diameter x 3 High. Age related wear with no damage. It comes with no display stand.
