Presented is an antique Japanese-style American sterling silver watch fob. This piece is designed with Japanese elements and was made in America, circa 1875 during the Aesthetic Movement.

It is tested and guaranteed to be sterling silver. The piece features several silver disks linked together. The largest is decorated with a piece of brass most likely depicting a beloved homeland. The smaller features a youthful Japanese boy's portrait inlaid with silver wire into the copper. The watch fob has a clasp hook that opens and closes nicely at the end of the piece.

The piece shows some wear but it is in overall good condition. It is unclear as to how the two loops near the top function. What a great conversation piece! Total Weight: 33.5 grams.
