Fine Japanese Meiji Satsuma Bowl with Beautiful Decorations by Kazan. Meiji period Japanese fine satsuma bowl. It has mon shaped symbolic decorations in the center of the interior along with symbolic decorative borders. The exterior of the bowl is finely decorated with six old men with scrolls, two boys with a man, and a woman on the opposite side.

There are pine trees and bamboos between the scenes. It also has fine symbolic decorations over the top and bottom of the exterior of the bowl. There is an impressed seal of Kazan over the side of the bottom of the bowl (hard to photograph).
