Fine MEIJI Period Japanese KUTANI Pottery LARGE BOWL-Red/Gold Painted Scenes. This typical Kutani "red" has that beautiful burnt- orange washed look to it and the fine detailed gold swirling paint sitting on top brings out the details of each scene. The crackled glaze of the white porcelain shows that many years have passed yet the the handiwork of the artist has been gently cared for. This sweet piece of Japanese pottery is 9.25 dia.
