This sale is for a pair of beautiful and elaborate 19th Century Japanese Bronze Vases with high relief decoration depicting Sea Creatures including Crabs, and Fish - Crustaceans etc amongst Seaweed with the Handles of twisted Vine like form as shown. The main body acting as a background to the relief decoration is decorated to its entirety with Chased stylised decoration with the upper and basal Rim having stylised Banding. Each piece measures approx 32cm in height with a Rim width of approx 11.8cm, the weight of each piece is approx 2.18kg and 2.28kg. Beautiful period and highly decorative pieces for any Oriental enthusiast.

Condition; Each piece shows age related patina and usage, each piece has a slight knock to the Base Rim making it slightly off-shape as shown in images 8,10 and 11 for examples, one piece has erosion wear to the Base has shown in image 11 for an example, there is a light area of wear also shown in image 9 but however none of this detract from their display use and decorative appeal as shown.
