This exquisite antique hand-painted 8-panel Mother of Pearl bracelet has different Japanese life scenes on each panel. Brilliant colors and no discernible defects except one minuscule flaw on the left-side of the running deer panel. The Mother of Pearl is beautiful as are the painted scenes on the panels.

Please see photos of panels for exceptional colors and condition. It would enhance any wrist for casual or semi-formal occasions. Family tradition says this was brought back from Japan by a great-grandmother in 1909, but I have no way to confirm the age. There is no country of origin stamp or indication of any metal purity on clasp which appears to be base metal.
