Vintage Japanese Nihongami Styling Fine-Tooth Comb Tsuge-Gushi: Aug17B. Tsuge Boxwood Nihongami Styling Comb. Nihongami is a fine art and various traditional combs like this are used for different techniques. This type of comb used for finely seperating each strand of hair.

This is the real thing - a fine quality Tsuge wood comb. It measure 4 long or about 10cm. This is a vintage item but shows no sign of having been used. This would be great for styling hair or a Japanese wig. Still in its original packag and box.

Normally Nihongami styling is done with "Kansai Tokoyama Bintsuke" wax. It should never be washed but should be periodically treated with "Hontoh Tsubaki" Camellia Oil.
