Vintage set of 4 Japanese original paintings on finely stretched raw silk

  

This is a beautiful and delicately hand painted collection of 4 Japanese paintings on what appears to be painted on tightly stretched fine raw silk. They appear to be stretched onto a decoratively covered plastic like bordered frame, as they are very lightweight.

They have a plastic clasp at the top for hanging. The grouping would make an impressive statement and add a sophisticated Oriental flavor to any room. They appear to be in excellent vintage condition, with minor wear typical of their age and use.

Each painting measures 7.5 in by 15 in, not including the plastic hanging clasp.
